Trastienda
PROJECT: 01. AGAVE
Saving the Environment
Trastienda is dedicated to create and fund projects that nurture the country in mind and soul.
Having a positive impact in the production industry will eventually have an impact in building a better country – from the producers to the final consumers.
Trastienda is a pop-up retail concept born in Mexico City and in each season implements a theme to help local rural producers to be closer to the final urban consumers in selling products that otherwise will be condemned to disappear.
The Challenge
To create a brand system for Trastienda that lets producers shine and help the company change its theme every three months, maintaining the essence of the brand.
The first project
01. – Agave
The first project is looking for local producers of Agave plant in Oaxaca (a devastated zone of the 2017 earthquake) and helps locals to fair trade their products and make sure the earnings can transform the community.
The project includes products like: Mezcal, Soaps, Creams etc.
Presentation
Periodic Square
When a project ends, a closed square presentation is created to communicate that the particular season is over. Each project has its own color, an uppercase letter, and edition nr.
Multiple projects will form a periodic table style map [Concept of community: the elements (≅projects) support each other and all work together toward a common goal]
